Koh Nang Yuan

Koh Nang Yuan is situated to the north-east of the Gulf of Thailand, just a few hundred meters from popular Koh Tao. The island's three hills are connected by only two narrow beaches and locals call it the most beautiful island in the world. We are certainly not arguing. Tours from Koh Samui and Koh Phangan, only an hour away by high speed catamaran is offered daily.

During the trip you will be able to swim, snorkel or just laze on the lovely beaches and come lunch time, be treated to a meal in the most beautiful surroundings. If you wish to go scuba diving you can also book a night or two at the Nang Yuan dive resort, the only accommodation on the island. Twin Rock, Green Rock and White Rock are three popular dive sites. Scuba diving excursions from Koh Tao to the popular Chumpon Pinnacle is a favourite among scuba divers and conducted almost daily.

Those interested can do a discovery dive on Nang Yuan before committing to full scuba diving training. Discovery dives allow you to do an hour or so crash course, then walk in from the beach with full gear and feel what scuba diving is about. If you like it, book a course with one of many dive operators on Koh Tao and obtain an internationally recognized dive license. Also be sure to climb up to the viewpoint and get an eagle's eye view of the surroundings. It really is breathtaking and makes for the greatest photos.
